Default monitor on node (node list shows unknown) caused pool monitor down.

Hi all,   I found that the node can set default monitor for nodes, however once i set it, it will cause the pool monitor down... I removed the default monitor and then the pool becomes normal agai...

The default monitor associated with nodes are ICMP. And the pools will also have some monitor associated with it, usually if the services is running - the member will be marked up and inturn marking the pool available.

 

Removing the default monitor should not cause any impact on the pool, because pool also has a monitor configured in it.

 

Can you please share your config, showing what monitor is configured in pool.
