Data-Group list unable to accept wildcard in CLI
Hi Guys,
Actually i am having DG list with type string already.
I am trying to update the records via CLI, seems CLI did not like to accept the wildcard entries of URL like " *, / ". but when i try to update the same in GUI, it accepts it.
I don't want to create external DG, instead i need to update it with the an existing data group.
The reason i have multiple sites/strings with wildcard entries to be updated. Please let me know if you any possible solution for this?.
Hi Prakin,
Can you try this?
tmsh modify ltm data-group internal dg-name records add {\*example}

Ok. this is fine. should i use always " \ " infront of every records?. because i actually have other wild card sites which still shows error as like;
*.google.com\*
*.yahoo.com
i can with this is works \*.google.com\* and \*.yahoo.com. But when iRules look into will the " / " include in the match pattern as well ?.
