Custom Snmp trap for pool member
Hello,
I have configured "/config/user_alert.conf" file to send email notification when the pool member is marked down, but the sys marks the pool member down even if this pool member has one monitor UP .
Notification email :
LTM1.hamza.ma mcpd[9223] Pool /Common/Routeurs-PRIM-INWI-SECD-IAM_pool member /Common/212.217.10.194:0 monitor status down. [ /Common/ping-Cloudflare_monitor: down, /Common/ping-Google_monitor: up, /Common/ping-Level3_monitor: down; last error: /Common/ping-Cloudflare_monitor: No successful responses received before deadline. @2022/12/20 14:22:14. /Common/ping-Level3_monitor: No successful responses received before deadline. @2022/12/20 14:22:14. ] [ was up for 0hr:5mins:2sec ]
I would like to put a condition in my user_alert.conf file to send notification "pool memeber is down" only when all monitors are down.
Any idea?
Thank you in advance.
Thank you.

That’s Fine Hamza ,
But I did not get you in my first reply , I concentrated to give you a solution for Logs and Traps.
in your scenario you have extend the availability to make the pool member up if one of two monitors go down , of course you will get a log when one of monitors goes down but your pool member will be still up and serving traffic as long as one of assigned monitors up and success in health monitors probs.
anyway , I am very happy that you have found your way to get ride of your issue.
