Create HTTP CONNECT request using iRule - F5 BIG-IP

Hi,

I am looking to implement a scenario where my F5 BIG-IP receives a plain HTTP request to a VS, it then adds a client certificate via a serverssl profile and (using an iRule or otherwise) sends a HTTP CONNECT request to an endpoint via a proxy server outside of my domain. The proxy server establishes a HTTPS tunnel between the two endpoints and once the connection has been established the TCP payload of the original request is sent down via HTTPS

I am new to F5 and would appreciate a push in the right direction from anyone that has experience with this kind of thing.
