correlation ID generated by an iRule

Can a correlation ID be generated by an iRule? Our apps folks are asking us to tag, via the F5, every incoming request with a unique identifier to have that identifier passed down through all the tie...

    This might be a longshot, but would you still happen to have either of the irules you mentioned? Both links are now broken. We have a customer with the same request.
