Copy of packet and sends it to specific servers
Hello,
Can we have BIG-IP copy a packet(snmp trap) and send the copied packets with original source IP to specific servers?
If it is possible,please let me know the sample iRule?
The summary of this is as follows;
SNMP clinet ---- trap----->BIG-IP ---------> 10.0.0.1 (Packet: Source IP 192.168.1.1 /Destination IP 10.0.0.1)
(192.168.1.1) | (copy)
+--------------> 10.0.1.1, 10.0.2.1
(Packet : Source IP 192.168.1.1 /Destination IP 10.0.1.1)
(Packet: Source IP 192.168.1.1 /Destination IP 10.0.1.2)
I know that packet copy can be performed using HSL, but source IP is changed to BIG-IP's. As other way, clone pool was good way, but since BIG-IP cannot be located at their online networkm it was rejected.
Thanks,

how many snmp client/server do you have? if it is not too many, can you try to send sideband connection to another virtual server and do snat there?
i have seen past discussion saying hsl can also be used (in addition to sideband connection) but it did not work when i tested it.
