Copy configuration on new boot location after software upgrade from 11.6 to 12.1.1

Does anyone know if I have to copy the configuration from an old to a new boot location location after software upgrade from 11.6 to 12.1.1? Or does the config copy itself on a reboot?

The config will copy itself over and "convert" on first reboot.

 

The option "Activate from a different partition" (I think its worded as) refers to if you want to copy a config from a different partitions other than one you're currently in.
