copy config from one viprion to another in version 10.2.3

Hi,   I need to copy config from one viprion to another in version 10.2.3. To do this I believe I need to download the ucs file from the viprion I am copying from, extract files, edit the bigip_ba...

I thought that might not work because certain configs have to be changes before copying the the config over for instance the host name.if hostname is not identical, only shared configuration will be restored.

i do not know what configuration you want to copy. if it is shared configuration, you may just restore ucs from another viprion but need to make sure hostname is different.
