Cookie-standard profile timeout

Hi, I am looking for an answer about the timeout value for a cookie persistence, how long does cookie stay before being flushed out, i see the timeout field for source based persistence profiles, can someone guide me on this?

    The default is session cookie option - expires when user session ends ( browser closed).

     

    You can manually set expiration timer too.

    Thank you, couple of questions based out of your response.

     

    1) Where can i manually set the cookie expiration timer value? 2) Does cookie expires when session times out? (TCP session)
