Cookie Persistence Question

Hello All, Here’s the situation for BIG IP

 

App team is Testing the recovery app on port 9002. This is executed through Bridger (port 9001) initially to do the ICM dip, see the service, figure out that it has to execute the new application on the new port.

 

When F5 sees the request of the new application on the new port, it’s sending it to a random box that it can send to instead of the box that originated the call. This new box doesn’t have the ICM data for the call as that resides on the box that took the Bridger request so when the app on the new port tries to transfer the call, it fails the dip into ICM.

 

We would like to know if there is a way for the calls to always hit the same app server through the life of the call. Can this be done via Cookie Read?
