Sep 18, 2018Cookie Insert Not Always Honored
Good afternoon all,
I have an oracle application behind the BIG-IP that is throwing errors concerning our persistence not working properly. Cookie insert persistence is being used along with a one connect profile. It works most of the time but we have intermittent issues where the F5 seemingly doesn't honor the cookie. It's so intermittent it's hard to get a capture of the failed session but packet captures of the majority of sessions reveal that the cookie is always sent by the client. We have tried both a session cookie and a cookie with a 12 hour expiration. Has anyone encountered similar issue and found resolution?
Thanks in advance.

Hey, I got a few questions regarding your setup:
- What BIG-IP version are you currently running?
- Do you have Connection Limits on the pool members?
- Do you have a fallback persistence method?
- JG
Cumulonimbus
What load-balancing method is configured for this?
