Cookie domain mismatch: What does F5 do?

Just a quick question: if the domain of a cookie (set by a backend server) does not match the domain the VIP is in, does the F5 still set it to the client browser? Is there a way we can control this ...

Hi!

 

I believe the F5 will not care about the domain if you're only using the LTM module. Not aware of another way of controlling it apart from iRules.

 

Why do you want to avoid iRules?
