Converting regular device to StrongBox

Hello, everybody!

 

Does anyone know if it's possible to convert a regular device to StrongBox?

 

This doubt comes from the fact that sometimes some appliances have to be discarded by an user after an upgrade, for example. In these cases, being this conversion really possible, we could offer to our customers a better destination for old devices or even trade-in options. I suppose that only running in "StrongBox mode" we would be able to test new versions, different modules, to train our team, etc etc etc without having to keep the service subscription for lab only purpose.

    I doubt that it's possible, as StrongBox is a product that F5 sells (to its partners). Only your F5 Channel peer can provide you a definitive answer I suppose.

    i have asked this in the past and was told by F5 SE team they don't do this.
