Connection timeout before redirect to maintenance page using Irule

I need help to configure VS or through iRule if server is not responding it will redirect to maintenance page. I limit Keep Alive Interval to 5 secs but still take 90 secs to redirect to maintenance page.

 

Is there any other option to shortened the redirection to maintenance page or any advice that would be helpful is appreciated. Thanks

    It seems it is the normal tcp timeout behaviour you are experiencing, and it does not have anything to do with "keepalive". A better approach would be to configure the health monitor to poll more frequently and with shorter timeout value. The benefits of this apply to new connections; for when a backend server dies, existing client tcp connections will have to go through a proper tear-down process, which takes time.
