Connection rate limit logging
Hi,
I have activated the Connection Rate Limit on one of my VS. When a client hit the limit I can see that message in log: "err tmm[11843]: 01010251:3: Virtual /Common/vs_myvsname_80 exceeded configured rate limit."
Is there a way to log or show the client ip who trigger the connection rate limit?
Thanks
Pat

Hi,
To be more accurate with my question, I configured it "Per Virtual Server and Source Address" mode to help us detect DoS. And I would like to be able to grab the client IP.
Can I manage the connection rate by the GUI with that mode and do a log entry (maybe with an iRule) when it's triggered?
Thanks

PatPerron_18894did you ever come up with a solution for this? I just started using per-virtual & per-source ip rate limiting as well and the useless log spam is pretty annoying. Whenever possible I prefer to use built-in functionality.
