Connection limit + Queuing + OneConnect woes

We're currently struggling with a bug...

https://devcentral.f5.com/questions/f5-connection-limit-and-queuing-unexpected-behavior Bug 402510 - TCP connection queuing and OneConnect miscounts at conn limit

If we were to omit the connection limit and then try to implement it via an iRule does anyone know if that's likely to work or have been down this route before?

Something like https://devcentral.f5.com/wiki/iRules.virtual_server_connection_rate_limit_with_tables.ashx + monitor the queue (https://devcentral.f5.com/wiki/iRules.LB_queue.ashx)?

Unfortunately the service being load balanced is also extremely sensitive performance and reliability-wise.

Regards,

Unfortunately, connection limits configured on pool members or nodes for a CMP system are enforced per TMM instance ( http://support.f5.com/kb/en-us/solutions/public/8000/400/sol8457.html ). You might have got caught up in this.
