Connecting to LTM using VMware Orchestrator F5 plugin
Working with VMware Orchestrator 5.5: Attempting a connection using "Attach LTM" plugin fails when "Use REST API flag" is set to 'no'. The plugin finishes successfully; however, the status shows "unconnected".
Attempting a connection using "Attach LTM" plugin succeeds when "Use REST API flag" is set to 'yes'. Also, connections to LTM using the Orchestrator REST plugins work properly. These connections pass through a firewall. LTM version 11.5.1 in use.
What changes for the attempted connection when not using the REST API flag ? Is there any setting on the LTM load balancer that can be modified to achieve success?

Make sure that you have updated the REST framework on the BIG-IP to which you are connecting first.

Hi, I have the same issue. Can I update the REST framework if I don't have BIG-IQ? Regards, Jose
