Dec 22, 2009configuring sticky-srcip in F5
Hello,
I am trying to migrate some of the VIP from CSS to F5, and I have this configuration on CSS.
content no-test.lb.pa
advanced-balance sticky-srcip
vip address 10.1.10.15
add service no-test.z1.pa
add service no-test.z2.pa
add service no-test.z3.pa
active
and I have configured this on F5 as
created three nodes with no-test.z1, z2 and z3
created the pool with these 3 members with load balancing method as L3 Address
Created the vip and assigned the pool that I created
Is there anything else that I need to configure on VIP
Appreciate your help

Hi Allim,
You have a statement "advanced-balance sticky-srcip". From the F5 perspective this is persistence based on the source IP (client IP). So you will want to create Persistence profile using source affinity address as the type and then assign it on the VIP under resources tab.
I hope this helps
