Configure Interfaces in active/standby (Failsafe)

Is it possible to configure two interfaces on a BIG-IP i4000 to be in active/standby mode? We have two 10G fiber connections on the i4000, each fiber is going to a different network switch so trunkin...

there isn't any technology on the BIG-IP which offers this on itself. but i do believe that correctly configured spanning tree should break this loop (which you kinda create if the switches are also connected in the back) and thereby giving you sort of this effect. still not something i would advise without very thorough testing and even then ... doubtful.
