Config-sync in LTM
I have a general question about the config-sync process..
-
If I disable the VIP in Acive LTM in HA pair, does it replicate to standby LTM on completion of config-sync process ?
-
Does it stop the connections to VIP after disable the virtual and also do we need to disable the ARP for that specific VIP to stop all connections ?
Appreciate your help..

not necessarily. Open/current connections are still allowed. Disabling ARP here won't affect open connections i don't think.
Hope that helps,

Disabling ARP is only going to stop systems that don't already have the entry in the ARP table from connecting, or stopping them from connecting after their ARP entry times out. This is usually only something I do if I need to reuse the IP address somewhere else, as a disabled virtual server will still answer ARPs even when disabled.

Why not just disable the VLAN the VIPs are on?

Thanks for following up Nathan.
@Antony2015 - you can disable a virtual address (and/or ICMP and ARP) via meniu: Local Traffic > Virtual Servers > Virtual Address List. Then just select an address.
