Compression question

Hi,

 

 

I have a question about the http compression profile. I read it's possible use the

 

"URI Compression" list to select the data by the uri, or the "Content Compression" list to select the data by the content type.

 

But, if I fill "URI Compression" list and "Content Compression" list both, in which way LTM choose which data is to be compressed?

 

I think LTM compresses data if the uri OR the content are matched, and not uri AND content.

 

Anybody does the same test? Or anybody has the real answer?

    That is correct, it is "OR".

     

     

    According to the embedded Help text:Enabled: Turns on compression for any HTTP server responses matching the URI List or Content List settings of the HTTP profile.

     

     

    So if you have the Compression option set to "Enabled", and both URI & content lists defined, a match in either should trigger compression.
