    Well, that post didn't quite hit correctly...

     

    I'm trying to create a v13 CNAME pool but no clue where to actually put in the CNAME. Sure was a lot easier on v11.

     

    My overall config is a WIP for internal VIP and an AWS CNAME. I followed the directions on here (in v11) - created an EAV, iRule, etc. Worked great. Now with the stupid 'types' it's so confusing. Even when I upgraded from v11 to v13 it didn't come in correctly - dropped my CNAME, dropped the iRule - where the heck is the iRule even going to be configured now?!?!!?

    You should be able to find an "Implementation Guide" for the relevant product and code version here.

     

    From the implementation guide for 13.1.1, this may answer your question regarding "Type".
