Clients to use F5 for external DNS resolution

Hi All,

 

I'm currently using the F5 BIG-IP DNS module for local DNS resolution which is working perfectly, the only thing I can't do is have clients resolve external DNS when pointing to the F5 as a DNS server. Example, client has F5 as DNS server via DHCP..they can resolve the local on-premise domain but when attempting to resolve something like it won't return anything.

 

Have logged onto the command line on the F5 and all dig commands work perfectly and return the correct results. Running the same queries from a client machine against the F5 returns an "unknown host".

 

I'm pretty certain this is an easy fix but i'm out of ideas, just want to use the local F5 as the primary DNS for internal and external lookups.
