Checking/Killing a session

i have a problem , i was suing one to one natting as the below :

Origin address : 10.10.10.10 ( internal user )

Translation address : Real-IP=X.X.X.X

when i changed the translation address to "Real-Ip=Y.Y.Y.Y" i found that the translation is still happening to old one " Real-IP=X.X.X.X" .

i restarted the F5 services from CLI , after that it started to use the new one

So

Q1:

is this normal ?

Q2:

how can i check the current session on my BIGIP ?

Q3:

how can i check the current session for certain source ip ( 10.10.10.10 ) ?

Q4:

how to kill existing sessions for certain source ip ( 10.10.10.10 ) ?

  • Hi SSHSSH,

    is this normal ?

Yes, the change is only applied to new connections.

ow can i check the current session on my BIGIP ?

tmsh show sys conn or b conn show. See the help pages for options to filter the results.

how can i check the current session for certain source ip ( 10.10.10.10 ) ?

    See above

how to kill existing sessions for certain source ip ( 10.10.10.10 ) ?

Same as above. Just use delete with the b conn or tmsh sys conn command you used to view the SNAT connections.

See the tmsh reference guide for your version for details:
