Apr 08, 2016Checking if Virtual Server disabled within iRule
Within an iRule, is there a way to check if a virtual server is disabled?
My goal is to display a pretty maintenance page if a virtual server is administratively disabled (as opposed to down)....

Instead of disabling the virtual server, you could manually disable the associated pool(s). Traffic is allowed to the virtual server and your iRule could check to see if there are any active pool members to load balance to. If none found, then send your pretty maintenance page.
