Changing External VLAN Tag

Our network team is changing an External VLAN tag. I need to reflect that tag change in F5. Do I only have to make that change in one place

 

In F5-->Networks-->VLans-->External?

 

 

I am assuming that i will have to delete the current tag and recreate the new one with the new tag?

    In 10.x you can just edit the existing VLAN's tag. In v9, I think this was a bit more difficult as you can't edit an existing VLAN's tag. You can try modifying the bigip_base.conf with the new tag and reloading the config, but I think you'll get an error. In order to delete a VLAN there can't be any objects referencing it including routes, VS's, etc.
