CARP hash persistence

Hello,     With source IP persistence using CARP, if a member leaves or joins a pool does the indexing to other members of the pool remain the same? In other words, is persistence maintained to...

One advantage of CARP is that only clients hashed to a downed member are affected when that member goes down.
