Can't access GUI after renew device cert [Firefox]

Hi

I've a problem with Firefox

I renew a device certificate because old cert is expired. after that I can't access GUI via Firefox

When I click add exception , It didn't allow me to click confirm exception. (and status of certificate is old cert that I already renew )

I tried upgrade Firefox , delete certificate in browser , nothing good

How to fix this please?

Thank you

  • I have found, on some versions of Firefox, that it tends to work if I import the BIG-IP's default GUI certificate (localhost.localdomain) into the Authorities section in the Certificate Manager.
  • Delete your browser's cache, so it wont know about the old cert and mismatch it with the new one.

You can delete the cert cache to fix this. It's a Firefox bug. I think this is the correct one:

Bug 660749 - (CVE-2011-0082) Firefox doesn't (re)validate certificates when loading a HTTPS page from the cache

I use a Firefox addon called Perspectives, which among other things, works around the bug:

Connect securely to https websites by checking certificates with network notaries. See http://www.perspectives-project.org
