Nov 08, 2012Cannot update/disable iRule
Im not sure why but changing an iRule does not apply.
Even if I remove the irule from the resources of the VS it still looks like it is applied to all incoming traffic.
Is this a normal behaviour?
Can I somehow force it offline or force it to update on all current connections or new ones?
Thanks.

[wrong]Changes to an iRule should apply immediately to all connections assuming those connections hit an event in the rule.
What version are you running? Sounds like a bug.[/wrong]cantalwaysberight

The behavior could be normal for exiting and for persistent connections. The LTM keeps your prvious version of the config live for those. - What_Lies_Bene1

Apologies, Mohammed is absolutely correct. Note Data Group changes are 'picked up' immediately. If you're desperate/impatient, you could use 'tmsh delete sys conn' to remove existing connections. - TZ_72966
