cannot ping f5 selfip

i have setup f5 ltm trial on vmware.   Everything looks good.   Problem is i cannot ping the web servers from the f5 ltm and vice versa using the selfip  
application delivery

Hi,

 

You cant ping the self IP address untill the webservers subnet and LTM self address are in same broadcast domain.
