Can you apply iRule to a pool member instead of applying it to a VIP?

Basically we want to treat two pool members differently.   I was wondering if an iRule can be applied to a pool member instead of a VIP?

Can you provide more detail? While you cannot apply the iRule to a pool member, within the iRule you can perform different actions based on pool member selection.
