can we ping or telnet to the VIP when the back end servers/pool members are down ?

Hi Team ,   can we ping or telnet to the VIP when the back end servers/pool members of that VIP is down ?   Regards , Chethan

Hello karkera,

 

Yes you can both telnet and ping when the VS is Offline (Enabled) and "The children pool member(s) are down"
