Can not RDP to Webserver behind f5
Dear Team,
I am new to f5. I want to take RDP of webserver behind f5. I tried using NAT but I can only ping to natted IP not RDP. Please suggest.
Also, tcpdump shows traffic flows, it does not show the reason or what f5 is doing with that traffic. Is there any command that shows the reason.
Thank You, Abhisar

Create a virtual forwarding server listening to 3389 and to the ip (or network) of the server you want to connect to.
That should do it. :)

Thanks Patrik for your reply.
You mean we will create new virtual service and add pool into it with singal node to it? Or where I will create virtual forwarding?
- Hi! When you create a virtual server you can chose forwarding as type. Ie, if the network behind the load balancer, where the servers are is 192.168.10.0/24 you would create a new virtual server, specify type as forwarding and destination as network, 192.168.10.0, netmask 255.255.255.0. The BigIP will then forward the traffic according to its routing table. /Patrik
