Can I use power supply of 3600 series box to 4000 series box.   Scenario : I am upgrading my 3600 box to new 4000 LTM Box.However, In 4000 box one of the power supply turns out to be bad. Can I u...

Hi,

 

I advise you to contact support for this subject. many people can advise you indeed. but without validation of the F5 support it's risky to exchange equipment between different equipment, even electric ones.

 

But in all case I advise you to not use the power supply of your 3600 because as you noticed it's not at all the same specificity (I'm not electric but it's pretty clear).

 

3600:

 

  • Power Supply: One 300W included, dual power option
  • Input Voltage: 90-240 VAC +/- 10% auto switching

4000:

 

  • Power Supply: One 400W included (80 Plus Platinum efficiency), dual power and DC options
  • Input Voltage: 95W (single supply, 110V input)**

And they not use the same input voltage...

 

trig an RMA or contact support it's better.
