Yes. You can upgrade from 11.3 to 12.1.2. Please consider the below-mentioned points before an upgrade.

 

  1. Check iRules --Sometimes you need code modifications on new versions --You can provide qkview to F5 vendor and ask for help.
  2. Check content check HTTPS monitors --Provide qkview to F5 vendor and ask any modifications are required for HTTPS monitors
  3. Perform an upgrade on standby device and verify all application functionality by moving the traffic to upgraded device
  4. Once all applications are working fine perform an upgrade on another device.
