"Page can't be displayed" can result from many different things.
Yes, you can put anything on a webtop. If it's not a resource (apptunnel, remote desktop, portal resource, etc), you can define it as a "webtop link" which is a free-form URL. It could be a link to google or whatever you like.

Apr 13, 2016The goal is to make Intranet resources available to contractors from the internet without a VPN. In a webtop, this means it must be published as a 'Portal Access' resource, not a 'Webtop Link'. Specifically, can a resource that is published on an Intranet VS (which is accessible only inside the corporate network) be published as a Portal Access resource in a webtop that is accessed via the internet?
