Can i apply AVR profile to a VS which is in production, it will not affect the traffic?

Can i apply AVR profile to an in production VS?   Statistics> Analytics, shows only top 10 transactions, client ip etc. Max i can go to 100. What if i wan to store record for long term   ...

1- YES YOU CAN, IT IS ONLY COLLECTING DATA IT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE TRAFFIC, NO SIDE EFFECTS
