Dec 05, 2014That's usually something that is done with a GTM, DNS manipulation.
A thought though. If you're wanting to have traffic go to a different VIP in the event of a failure, you could use the "virtual" command in the iRule to map it across the back plane. Or if in a different datacenter, you could have the VIP as a pool member in a pool using priority groups.

Did you also mean multiple pools for a single LTM VIP or multiple pools for a GTM wide ip?
