NimbostratusBot Signature installation permission
HI,
I have updated the IOS to 14.1.0, and found some updates in Bot signature, but when i am trying to install it then says you do not have permission to perform this action. Can any one advice. Note that, i have restarted the box. but no luck.

Bot Signatures are now a subscription service to receive updates. They are no longer included in the Attack Signature update, v14.1 just does a better job of separating the two for better visibility.
I would recommend that you contact your account team for access to these future updates. Sorry for the trouble.
Markie_Parkie_1@taunan, does this apply to "Threat Campaigns" also, as that's the two I have that now say about permissions..
Also, don't know if anyone else has had this yet, but in my version 14.1.0.1 you don't have permissions if you are a custom user with the Administrator role. Has to be the initial Admin user of the box.

Yes this applies to Threat Campaigns as well. The subscription services for AdvWAF/ASM are Threat Campaigns, Bot Signatures, and IP Intelligence. IP Intelligence currently being provided by our partners at BrightCloud. ASM Attack Signatures will continue to be included with both licenses as long as you have a valid support contract.
As for the second question, this is a known issue that should be addressed soon. We are tracking it as ID756418 so look for this to be fixed in future releases.

leonlineInfo I got: should be fixed in 14.1.0.2, hopefully released by the end of February. Meanwhile you need to use the admin account.

I don't understand why "Bot Signatures" was a new license since 14.1 (Minor release).
And I don't understand why there is no note of this in the release note 14.1.0
