Boot partitions in f5

Hello friends,   In one of the f5 device i manage i have two boot partitions installed with v10 and v11 in hd1.1 and 2 respectively.   Does this partitions are independent of ea...

yes, they are separated. Own software and using logical volumes.

 

A volume is shared among software slots, mounted as /shared/

 

Software images and hotfixes are in /shared/ that's why you always see them whatever you boot on slot X or Y

 

Here some (little) more info. It was better documented with previous versions.
