Block access from a specific URL to a local URL

Hello, I'm a newbie in F5 so excuse me in advance if my question is stupid.

I have a VS that contains multiple URLs, for one of these local URLs I would limit incoming traffic by preventing access by some sites (especially crawler).

I don't have the ATM otherwise the task would have been easier and the Security features is not selective for the destination URL.

For this reason I think the only solution is to use an iRule to make sure to block specific incoming URLs.

Is this possible?

Thank you in advance.

  • I don't think blocking a Source URL is a thing that is possible. You can block a Source IP Address. This should be done on a Firewall, but you can drop traffic from a specific Source IP Address using an iRule. Not sure if this is would give you the results you're looking for.
