BitLocker Check Not Working
Hi guys,
I'm hoping someone can help! We have a case open with F5 support at the moment relating to the BitLocker host check not working correctly. In summary, on Windows 7/8 devices running the F5 Edge Client the BitLocker host check fails to detect the encryption state of the drive/s (it only works if the user has local admin rights).
F5 has recognised and they have a case open with OPSWAT however we've been given an update by both F5 and OPSWAT to say that, at this point, there is nothing they can do to resolve the problem as the issue lies with Microsoft.
So the question is...does anyone know of a valid workaround for detecting drive encryption states?
Thanks
Peter

Did you ever find a solution to this? I am facing the same issue. - vandenhoutenp_9

Hi there, Sorry for the delayed response. No, I'm afraid not and the bad news is there isn't a workaround available. The limitation (according to F5) is with the Microsoft OS. I raised a ticket with OPSWAT directly and they confirmed as much. So in summary, unless you've got local admin rights you cannot correctly determine the encryption state. Thanks Peter
