BigSuds Python for HA Status of an LTM?

Hi,

 

Is there a function that can be called in Python to check whether not an LTM is the active or standby node? I have several scripts that are used for adding new members and pools to the F5 LTMs and I need a way to determine which unit is the active node vs standby.
