BigIP VE - Port 22 shows open, but cannot SSH to it. Browser access only.

I have a virtual F5 used for a lab which has decided to no longer accept connections via port 22. Filezilla comes back with "Network error: Software caused connection abort" and fails. Using Putty, the connection just fails. I tested port 22 (using a port tester utility) and it came back as open. I tried a reboot, but it had no effect. It's running BIG-IP v14.0.0.2 (Build 0.0.2). Has anyone ever run into this?

    Can you login via the GUI and check that your user account has advanced shell access configured?

    System > Users.

    It's not getting to the point where I get a login prompt. I was told earlier this morning that this may be due to the Server Team locking down SSH access since the last time I logged into it (awaiting confirmation that my VM was among those locked down).
