Bigip overrides X-Real-IP header

Hi, We are going to use CDN in front of my loadbalancer bigip. My cdn add http header X-Real-IP with the properly client ip. We detected bigip is overriding this header with the cdn edge ip instead...

in general i wouldn't expect the F5 to touch that header, as it isn't the official one.

 

but there might be extra configuration that does this, have you checked iRules / Local Traffic Policies attached to the virtual server

 

this K article gives an idea how it would work for the X-Forwarded-For header.
