Just a quick question guys, is it possible to automate the backup configuration for the BIGIP. I have read a doc on askf5 to manaually backup and restore config's but i dont have time to do that. Ple...

Sep 09, 2009You might be interested in evaluating AutoBackup for F5 software created by Integralis. It allows you to perform centralized Automated Scheduled backups of multiple F5 devices. It does not require you to install any scripts/cron jobs on the F5 device.
All you have to do is simply register all your F5 boxes, define the backup schedule, the folder on your PC (or network share) where you want the backup files to be downloaded and that's it.... The results of each backup are logged in the Windows Event Log and optionally a remote syslog server.
