BigDB Setting Persistence

Hi all, I believe it used to be the case that an upgrade (and possibly hotfix install) would remove any custom user-defined BigDB settings. Is that still the case? I suspect not as some settings end ...

Hey Steve,

 

 

All custom DB settings should be preserved during an upgrade now. You could test your upgrade on a VE and do a diff of the db settings to confirm. If there are any missing settings, it should be considered a bug.

 

 

And I saw you updated your book. I'm looking forward to finding some time to read through the updates!
