Big3d version and LTM/GTM software version

Hi all,

Quick question: -Can we setup an environment where the LTM/GTM are running different versions? I am assuming the issue is to make sure that BIG3D is standard across all the devices, whether LTM or GTM despite different versions. Am I correct?

As long as the BIG3D version is the same on them, it should work fine even if the BIG-IP software versions are different. However if the BIG-IP versions are different, the GTM's version of BIG-IP should be the newer one. That is because the GTM BIG-IP version dictates what version of BIG3D it will be pushing out to the LTM's.
