Hi, 

Could you share a few more details on the exact config of your environment? 

- From what to what version did you upgrade the BigIP's? 

- The BigIQ was on 8.1.0.1 beforehand and is still on 8.1.0.1? (BigIQ 8.1 does not support BigIP 17.0, not sure if you were upgrading to that one?) 

- When you upgraded the BigIP's, did you fully rediscover all cluster members and reimported the config? (any modules that may have been active on it, not just the LTM part) 

Irrespective of the error, you may want to think about upgrading to 8.1.0.2 (or possibly 8.2), as it fixes a bunch of bugs in BigIQ.
