BIG IQ query

Hello,

How can we confirm via command line or GUI whether REST Database is in sync between BIGIQ and BIGIP ?

BIGIQ: 5.4

BIGIP: 12.1.x

 

If REST database sync is broken between BIG IP and BIG IQ (suppose a change is done on BIGIP LTM itself ,instead of pushing it via BIG IQ) , how can this be fixed and its impact ?

    Hi Mayank,

     

    It took me awhile but I believe I have found an answer for you. Please see the following article. It has a section titled "Check the existing version of the installed REST framework" as well as a section titled "Manually upgrade the REST framework". I believe that both of those sections should answer your questions.

    Thanks Nathan. Information given in the article is helpful. So Viprion hosts can also be discovered and managed along with guests via BIG IQ.
